A construction group behind plans to build a 54 storey development on the doorstep of Canary Wharf is threatening to scrap its proposal.

Turkish firm Agaoglu Group is reported to be considering the future of the scheme due to pressure from the Greater London Authority for it to reduce the size of the tower.


Internet giant Telehouse has signed a deal to expand its business in east London.

The group won a two acre site on East India Dock Road in an auction run by the Greater London Authority. The company, which already has offices nearby, lost out in the original bid but had another chance after the winner failed to complete on the deal.
