And while the tale of a school drop-out from Kosovo who washed pots at an Angus Steak House is an unlikely and engaging one, it is not really what this charismatic obsessive wants to talk about. four seasons142.JPGA vegetarian and a coeliac walk into a bar. Not the start of a bad joke or an excuse to close the kitchen but the beginning of an evening at Quadrato, the restaurant at Four Seasons Canary Wharf.

Our fickle summer forced us to abandon plans to eat on the terrace but the dining room's welcoming wintery palette of dark wood and burgundy plush fabrics made for a cosy alternative.
