I would have snapped your hand off for a point before the game against Derby. They had the chance to go top-of-the-league, but we spoilt that by putting in a hard-working display and arresting our decline just a little bit before the International break.

After a couple of consecutive defeats we had to stop the rot against table-topping Nottingham Forest for their visit to The Den on Saturday.

It was a nil-nil draw but we didn't shut-up shop and aim to repel the opposition. We were the team on top for the majority of the match.

Millwall's great start to the season continued with our first away win of the season at Craven Cottage on Saturday. A massive away following of something like 6,000 witnessed a 1-0 win, as we kept out third clean sheet of the season and Martyn Woolford got the winner.

What a way to open our league campaign. Entertaining our old rivals Leeds United on the first day of the season was always going to be an enticing match.

We're keeping control of our optimism about the start of the season at Millwall after our last two efforts saw us battling relegation.

We've shipped a few players out including several players on either loans or short term deals who frankly didn't contribute enough. DJ Campbell and Simeon Jackson were two big disappointments.
