The number of passengers using the Thames cable car has been hailed "embarrassing" after the latest report showed they had nearly halved year on year.
For the week ending December 7 just 15,049 people used the service, down from 29,340 for the same period in 2012.
Latest figures for the Emirates Air LIne show it was down an average of 1,000 users a day last week, compared with the same period in 2012.
The seven days ending November 30 this year saw 18,572 people use the service - the lowest number since March.

The number of people using the cable car to cross the Thames last week dropped to its lowest since March - and fifth lowest ever.
Just 20,406 used the service over the seven days up until November 10, down from 34,885 for the same period in 2012.
The latest weekly passenger figures for the the Thames cable car have shown just 27,000 people used the service - a drop from over 70,000 a year before.
The comparison is based on the week ending November 3 in 2012 and the week ending November 2 this year.
