It's been just a year since Singapore firm Oxley joined with Ballymore to put the Royal Wharf scheme into action.


The London Assembly has voted to investigate concerns about the relationship between Mayor of London Boris Johnson's inward investment arm and ABP, the Chinese developer which landed the contract to redevelop land neighbouring Royal Albert Dock.

The deal has come under fire with suggestions the relationship between London & Partners and ABP was too "cosy" and the tender process flawed.

It was a last-minute arrangement, and one that I had mixed feelings about, but MCM London Comic Con turned out to be an absolute blast.

This summer I had two short holidays. The first was in the Canary Islands. The second in Sussex. What a contrast.

I like the warm weather overseas, although it's a pain getting there. And I love popping down to the South Coast, but the weather is unreliable.
