Our 13-game unbeaten run had to end at some point and it came to a juddering halt as we were turned over 3-0 at Portman Road on Saturday. You can't really argue with the result because of our abject second half performance.

But anyone who was present at the match knows it could have been a different story had we have taken any or all of the numerous chances in the first half.

The same happened when we last won a game - at home to Middlesbrough.

We promptly lost the next three matches.

IanToal.jpgLast Saturday's 2-1 win at home to Bolton Wanderers was a massive victory for the Lions.

The game had a proper Millwall atmosphere as the crowd responded to us being on the end of some bad refereeing decisions and the antics of opposition winger and pantomime villain Chris Eagles, spurring us on to victory.

Last Saturday's FA Cup match against Southampton threw up a few questions for Millwall manager Kenny Jackett and supporters alike.

Our recent turnaround in form has been in a large part due to the return of striker Darius Henderson to the team.

Things have taken a dramatic change for the better for The Lions after beating League Two strugglers Dagenham and Redbridge 5-0 in the FA Cup third round replay and then getting a vital 3-1 win at Barnsley in the League last Saturday.
