We are taking this season right to the wire. We need to get a win at Derby County this Saturday to ensure our Championship survival. Anything less than a win and we are left hoping one of the three other teams below us, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley or Peterborough drop points.

Danny Shittu believes Millwall's army of 30,000 fans can roar the side on to semi-final glory against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

The Lions' captain said, despite their Premier League opposition winning three out of the last four games, he still fancies his south-east London side's chances in the FA Cup clash.

Saturday's win away at Middlesbrough was a hugely important victory for the Lions.

With five successive league defeats we had been slipping alarmingly towards a relegation dogfight for some time and desperately needed a result to arrest that decline.

Our unbeaten run now extends to an impressive 9 games thanks to a close 2-1 home victory over Derby County at The Den last Saturday. We had to cope with a few key players missing, including top scorer Darius Henderson and in-form winger James Henry, who both picked up hamstring injuries in the previous match at Watford.

That's a lot of travelling for both the team and our supporters and, following three successive defeats, it was important we stopped losing and got a few points in the bag.
