Roll the clock back to the 19th century in Bromley-by-Bow, to a date where east Londoners witnessed a former sunflower mill exploding in a puff of flour.

The scientists of tomorrow could make their mark in education at a new east London free school, set to open its doors in September.

The former oasthouse at the Grade II listed Clock Mill, next to Bromley by Bow Tube, will act as a temporary home for the East London Science School, thanks to a partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

A one-off interactive musical event is taking place at the Grade I listed House Mill within the Olympic Park this weekend.

Orchitecture is a concert where the audience can walk within a live orchestra while exploring the 18th century relic of the industrial revolution in Bromley-by-Bow.

Parliament operates at so many different levels. Prime Minister's Questions, debates, committees, all-party groups' meetings on every conceivable subject. And we are open to all. This week I've been lobbied by a constituent asking me to support the Tory rebels on Europe; teachers lobbying on the unfairness of the Tory-led Coalition's proposals for their pensions and youngsters making a film about youth unemployment.
