Looking for a beer festival to whet your whistle? We found three across London that will cater to every beer lovers needs.


A four-day German-themed beer festival coming to Millwall Park next month has been attacked by an Isle of Dogs councillor.

Gloria Thienel said the proposal for the "alcohol-fuelled party" was unsuitable for the area and has sent an objection to the Tower Hamlets licensing committee.

Over 100 different beers will be on offer at a three day festival of brewing in Greenwich.

Meantime's BrewFest will take place on July 31, August 3 and August 4 at The Old Brewery, on the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College. Drinks will range from rare speciality brews to popular favourites, all served at three main bars.


The Ledger Building is to close its doors for just under a fortnight as part of a £175,000 refurbishment.

The West India Quay Lloyds No 1 outlet will shut from November 9 to 18 for a "complete redecoration", including new furniture and carpeting.
