A Tower Hamlets woman was the victim of an assault as she walked to a Tube platform with her friend.

British Transport Police (BTP) has released an image of a man they want to speak to in relation to the unprovoked incident, which happened on October 17 in Mornington
Crescent Underground Station, at about 7.40pm.

A 28-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw and lost four teeth following an assault at South Quay DLR station in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) are now investigating the incident, which was reported at 12.51am on August 31, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Services on the DLR were temporarily suspended on Sunday as officers investigated a package left at Limehouse Station.

But those intending to make their way from Westferry to Bank and Tower Gateway in both directions only suffered a 15-minute inconvenience, with the stretch of track re-opening at 4.54pm.
