Tower Hamlets teenagers charged over courier fraud
Police have charged two 18-year-olds in Tower Hamlets with conspiracy to defraud victims out of £168,600.
It is in connection with an investigation into courier fraud in the south west of England. They will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today.
Rahim Choudhrey and Abdul Shafee, both 18, are of Wheeler House in Quaker Street.
Choudhrey faces 10 charges ranging from £1,000 to £42,600, while Shafee faces five worth between £10,000 and £20,000.
They were arrested on Monday by Zephyr - the south west's regional organised crime unit - in a joint operation with the Met.
A third man, also 18, has been released on police bail.
