Greenwich will be getting its own reality TV series in September.

The Greenwich Show will document the history, lives and businesses of the borough through the eyes of its residents.

TV presenter and Greenwich B&B owner Robert Gray will be the face and voice of The Greenwich Show.

He said: "To think that this started two years ago from my kitchen table when I began to make short films about Greenwich, and now we're broadcasting to a national and international audience - it's incredible.

"We can't wait to work with aspiring local talent to make this programme a huge success in what is London's best borough."

The first episode will look at the Tall Ship's Festival, which will run September 5-9, and a car club who meet monthly at Greenwich Market.

Ian Ramsdale, Editorial Director of The Greenwich Show said: "We really want - and need - this exciting project to involve the people of Greenwich. It's going to be very much a community-made, community-led piece of television, and we're inviting our Royal borough's filmmakers, presenters and producers, aspiring or experienced, to see their work broadcast.

The first episode will air on Sky 212 and Freesat 401 on September 1 at 9.30pm and will appear at the same time on every first Monday of the month.
