Go behind the scenes at Canary Wharf's newest station for one weekend next month.

The Crossrail station in West India Quay, which is due to open in 2018, will open to the public as part of a series of tours from Open House London.

Visitors will be some of the first to see the new ticket hall, platforms, retail development and roof garden above the station.

The station viewings are among more than 800 buildings and sites open for the public's eyes on September 20 and 21 - which will also include Moorgate and Farringdon Crossrail stations.

Crossrail tours can be booked via eventbrite.co.uk from September 1 and a full list of buildings is available on August 15 via londonopenhouse.org.
