London City Airport's newest carrier, Flybe, is continuing its expansion with a route to Amsterdam.

The airline, which signed a five-year deal with the Docklands airport earlier this summer, will run a weekend service to the Dutch capital.

Targeted at leisure customers, the route, beginning on November 1, will fly Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings on a Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

Flights will leave London City at 8.25am on Saturdays and depart Amsterdam at 11am.

The return trip to London leaves at 5pm, while the Amsterdam flight takes off at 7.50pm.

Prices start at £39.99 each way.
