The O2 gears up for Bollywood star's 500th show

A superstar of Bollywood will be appearing as he opens the first international World Kabaddi League tournament at The O2 on Saturday.

Akshay Kumar will be marking his 500th stage performance when he enters the dome at North Greenwich.

One of India's most famous stars, he is a film producer, actor and entrepreneur, as well as a sixth degree black belt in karate.

In kabaddi he bought the side Khalsa Warriors. The traditional Indian sport will be played at The O2 arena on Saturday and Sunday. Warriors are one of six sides taking part.
