Woman raped in street attack in Charlton

Police are hunting three men after a woman was raped in a street in Charlton.

The attack happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Bugsby Way, opposite the Makro store.

The 21-year-old woman was on her way home between 2.30am and 4am after a night out.

At a bus stop by the junction of Anchor and Hope Lane she was approached by the three men.

Two men then held her down while the third raped her. They then took her cash, credit card and purse.

She contacted police who said she did not require hospital treatment.

The men are described as Asian.
