FOOD

East London foodies will have a new hotspot to pursue their passion this weekend, as an award-winning produce market arrives in Wapping.

The team behind south east London's Brockley Market will set up stalls at Brussels Wharf, in Wapping Wall, today from 10am until 2pm.

The weekly event will showcase produce from farmers and traders including Perry Court Farm and Nathan At The Butchery as well as street food outlets such as Mother Flipper.

Market founder Toby Allen said: "It's clear that people want more personal interaction with farmers and producers so they can learn where their food comes from, to have a connection."
