Bus driver beaten and spat at by Stratford gang

Police are hunting four people who punched, kicked and spat on a bus driver in Newham.

The incident took place at Stratford Bus Station on April 27, at about 1.50pm. The driver was in charge of the 25 bus when an argument broke out.

As all four passengers got off the bus one spat at the driver through his open cab window.

The victim was then punched and kicked by all the gang before they fled the scene.

The driver was taken to hospital with concussion.

The group were all aged between 18 and 25 years old.
