The great and the good of the fintech world will be converging on Canary Wharf next week.

Wired Money takes place on Tuesday at One Canada Square's Level39 startup space offering talks from a wide list of experts in the industry.

Greg Williams, executive editor of Wired magazine, which runs the event, said Level39 was ideally suited to the day-long show.

"Canary Wharf is symbolic of British finance," he said. "And Level 39 is a great space in terms of business growing and with its record for developing UK startups.

"It's also a good area for networking, meeting peers and discussing what they are doing. On top of that it offers terrific views of London. "

Speakers this year include Brett King, co-founder of New York-based mobile banking startup Moven, Nick Hungerford, who formed investment company Nutmeg, and Danae Ringelmann, who joint founded crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.

The agenda includes talks on redesigning financial institutions, the power of using analytics and online security risks.

Greg said: "It's a mixture of people who will attend but mainly it's entrepreneurs working in the fintech industry. These events are about a cross fertilisation of ideas."

Tickets, which cost £995 plus VAT, with discounts for startups and group bookings.
