BA celebrates busiest summer at London City
British Airways geared up for its busiest summer at London City Airport by holding a silent disco for travellers.
A thousand mini radios and earphones were given out by the Royal Docks Airport to get passengers in the holiday mood.
BA subsidiary CityFlyer has increased frequency to sunny destinations such as Ibiza, Malaga and Palma, while also bringing in a trio of new Embraer 190 aircraft.
Luke Hayhoe, British Airways' commercial general manager at London City said: "This will be our busiest summer ever and with the introduction of three new aircraft to the fleet we have taken the opportunity to increase frequency to some of the most popular holiday hot spots."
