Police appeal after man is stabbed in the stomach

Police are appealing for information after a 76-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach in Bow.

In the unprovoked attack at around 7am on May 16 the victim was walking along Fairfield Road when a man approached him and suddenly stabbed him three times with a knife.

The suspect then made off towards Bow Road.

The victim made his way home but was later treated for his injuries at hospital before being discharged.

The suspect is described as a black man and in his late 30's. He was wearing grey trousers and a blue polo shirt.
