Former England striker Michael Owen launched a spectacular 3D image at West India Quay to bring a taste of Brazil to Canary Wharf.

The artwork is of Rio de Janeiro's iconic landscape breaking through a 5-a-side pitch next to the dock.

A group of teenagers joined the former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker for a kick-about at the site earlier this week.

Owen visited Canary Wharf to launch Coca-Cola's Win A Ball promotion, which raises money for StreetGames, a charity that encourages disadvantaged communities into sport.

He said: "A football is a great, simple way to get everyone moving and having fun at the same time. As a father, I am always encouraging my kids to be active because I know physical activity plays a key role in everyday life.

"The Coca‑Cola Win A Ball promotion has this ambition at its heart plus it means money for a worthy cause like StreetGames."
