It was a busy day on the Thames on Thursday as an impressive fleet of German military ships made their way up the estuary and into Canary Wharf.

The armada, which included minesweepers Auerbach and Siegburg, moored in the dock by South Quay early in the afternoon.

In total there were six vessels. Also included was drone Seahund.

The arrival of the ships came just after 142 metre long French cruise ship Le Boreal made its way up the Thames to central London.
