CCTV images of two youths have been released by police investigating a woman being touched inappropriately while on a Jubilee line train at Canary Wharf.

The 44-year-old victim was travelling eastbound at 9.15am on Tuesday, January 28 when the incident happened.

Investigating officer, PC Suleman Yazdani, said: "During the journey two youths stood behind the woman and one of them inappropriately touched her.

"The males and the woman left the train at Canary Wharf and she confronted them on the platform, before the pair boarded the train again in a different carriage."

Police are trying to trace the pair pictured on CCTV.

PC Yazdani added: "We do not tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind on the transport network and take all reports seriously.

"If you recognise these two males, or have any information that could help our investigation, please contact us."

The appeal follows Project Guardian, which aims to increase the level of reporting of sexual offences on the transport network.
