5 things to do in and around Canary Wharf this week - Feb 10
This week we've got Boy George's photos, a cheap ride on the cable car, a host of adventure exhibitions, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and a way to get yourself some good karma.
1 See Boy George's art at Trinity Buoy Wharf
The pop star and south-east Londoner Boy George is showing off his artistic side at events site Trinity Buoy Wharf (pictured above), near East India DLR.
Photos and screen prints will be available for the masses to see between 6pm and 9pm this Thursday as part of a number of works at a new exhibition space.
Taking place at the Electrician Shop's Art Gallery, entrance is free.
2 Help a child
Got a spare lunchtime? Then sign up to help out with a child's education.
Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership runs the scheme and is looking for Canary Wharf and City workers to help out in the borough. Get in touch here
3 Go outdoorsy at the Excel
A host of shows appealing to your adventurous side will take place at the Excel Centre this week.
Travel, triathlon, bike, diving and motorbike fanatics will all be tempted to the Royal Docks centre.
4 Catch Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Live events company Future Cinema is bringing back Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Nine performances - for over 18s only - are being held at The Troxy from Friday until Sunday, February 23.
5 Take a cheap ride on the cable car
From Valentine's Day Greenwich and Newham residents (sorry those in Tower Hamlets) can benefit from half-priced rides for them and their friends.
It's worth a visit.
