A firm managing high-end properties in east London is offering two weeks free rent to those who let before March.

FizzyLiving's deal is available at its Fizzy Poplar and Fizzy Stepney Green schemes. It says the idea is to reduce the costs associated with moving home.

Harry Downes, FizzyLiving's managing director, said: "Moving is an expensive business. You have to book a removals team or van, arrange for the internet and other packages to be installed along with coming up with hard cash to put down a deposit as well as that month's rent.

"Fizzy want to make it easier for our renty-somethings at the start of the year by giving away two weeks free rent."

Tenants need to sign up before March and move into their flat before April to qualify.

Fizzy Poplar covers 45 homes within the New Festival Quarter development. There, one-bed flats can be let from £1,300 per month, while three beds start at £1,850. It is close to Langdon Park and All Saints DLR stations, or a 15 minute walk to Canary Wharf.

In Stepney Green, the firm has 63 apartments in the VIVO building with one beds costing from £1,350 and three beds £2,600.

FizzyLiving, which also has units in Canning Town and Epsom, also announced plans to bring another 1,000 rental properties to the market over the next five years.

This is what passes for news now?

Seems like a shameless advert to me
