More rental properties released in Olympic Park's East Village
High quality apartments at London 2012's former Athletes Village have proved so popular with renters that fresh stock is being made available to meet demand.
More than 100 people have set up home in East Village, dubbed London's newest neighbourhood, settling down into their new pads during November and December.
With an iconic postcode next to Stratford's Olympic Stadium, the development offers one and two-bedroom apartments for young professionals and couples as well as three and four-bedroom properties, including townhouses, suitable for families and sharers.
John Ward, 35, who works in Westminster moved into a one-bedroom apartment in East Village with his partner in November.
He said: "It's exciting to move into a brand new neighbourhood and East Village is already starting to build up the great atmosphere you'd expect from London living, but with a village-feel and lots of open space that is missing from other parts of the capital.
"It's also great to be so close to so many shops and facilities with everything we need on our doorstep, and the excellent transport links mean the rest of London is in easy reach."
Those fond of fitness and the outdoors will relish the area's 10 hectares of new parks, wetlands and open space, with an on-site gym set to open this year.
The Velodrome and Aquatics Centres, key venues during London 2012, will also be available for public use this spring. Back inside the apartments, renters at East Village will benefit from a range of free and discounted services, including no transaction, documentation, check-in or reference fees.
Hyperoptic fast broadband is also free, with reductions on Sky TV and designer furniture packages.
Derek Gorman, chief executive of Get Living London, said: "With over 100 renters now living in East Village, we are seeing London's newest neighbourhood coming to life.
"With more new homes now available, East Village is the perfect place to start the New Year in a new home."
