Police are hunting a man who groped a woman at Canary Wharf's Docklands Light Railway station.

Officers have released images of someone they want to speak to in relation to the assault on the 30-year-old victim, which took place on Friday, January 3, at 9.20pm.

Detective Constable Anna Fisk, the investigating officer, said: "We do not tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind on the transport network and take all reports seriously.

"If you recognise this man, or have any information that could help our investigation, please contact us."

The suspect is understood to have walked up behind the woman, before touching her inappropriately and walking off.

The appeal comes on the back of Project Guardian, an initiative aimed at improving levels of reporting by victims of sexual offences.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting background LUA/B9 of 10/01/14. Information can also be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
