The first film lined up for this year's Sundance London has been unveiled.

The UK premiere of documentary Lambert & Stamp will take place during The O2's annual indie film fest.

The documentary charts a crazy, chaotic journey as aspiring filmmakers Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert set out to search for a subject for their underground movie, leading them to discover, mentor, and manage The Who.

Director James D Cooper focuses on an extended interview with Chris Stamp, supplemented by insightful interviews with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend and evocative archival footage.

Sundance London film and music festival will take place from April 25-27 at The O2.

Hosting the same number of films and events as previous years, the festival will feature an expanded filmmaker development programme, including the return of the Sundance London Short Film Competition and a Shorts Workshop.
