Woman dies under DLR train at Stratford
The Docklands Light Railway was part-suspended on Wednesday afternoon after a woman died under a train at Stratford station.
Emergency services were called just before 4pm to the incident.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 3.50pm to reports of a person under a train at Stratford station.
"We sent a single respondent but the sadly the person died at the scene."
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the woman and inform her family," he said.
By 5.30pm the line between Stratford International and West Ham was still suspended.
There were also minor delays around the Canary Wharf area due to a faulty train at Limehouse.
