Barratt's Greenland Place scheme launches
A collection of more than 500 new homes in a regeneration hotspot next to Greenland Docks has been unveiled by Barratt London.
The array of one, two and three-bedroom apartments at Greenland Place in SE8 will be spread across five low-rise buildings as well as two towers, the largest rising to 22 storeys.
Prices start at £250,000 for a studio apartment in the 562-home development which includes an array of new shops, leisure facilities and transport links via Canada Water and Bermondsey.
Located in Evelyn Street, the scheme has been designed as a series of perimeter blocks, mews, courtyards and squares with landscaped courtyards and water features. Most properties will have balconies while inside facilities include a fitness suite, cycle parking and a 24-hour concierge service.
Greenland Place's 65,000sq ft allocation of commercial space could offer those with a desire to work on their doorstep the chance to do so.
For commuters to Canary Wharf, Surrey Quays Overground station offers connections to Canada Water and the Jubilee line.
For those who prefer a more tranquil route, services from Greenland Pier to Canary Wharf operate every 15 minutes.
