Two injured after man falls over balcony at Westfield
Shoppers watched in horror as one man fell from the third floor of the mall in Westfield Stratford City and landed on another.
Both men are in hospital with serious injuries following the incident at about 3.30pm on Thursday.
An assistant at a nearby store told the Mirror: "I heard people screaming and when we looked over the balcony there was a big crowd around the two guys."
Surrounding shops were shut as emergency workers arrived at the scene.
Both men were taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. One is suffering from a pelvic injury and the other has head and back injuries.
Newham Police are investigating the incident. No arrest have been made.
