Limehouse scheme snapped up by Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf Group has bought a former office block near the Limehouse Cut which already has permission for an 11-storey residential building.
Property firm Telereal Trillium sold the structure, a '30s employment exchange formerly owned by the Department for Work and Pensions, for an undisclosed fee.
The firm got planning consent for a 56 apartment development to be built on the site in Burdett Road in 2011.
The proposal also includes commercial space at ground floor level.
A Telereal Trillium spokesman said: "Having remained vacant since 2006, we are pleased that the site may now be brought back into use, providing housing and local employment, and will once again make a positive contribution to the Limehouse community."
