Expect a rush on Friday when tickets are on sale for a 10-show tour of The Who performing their iconic album Quadrophenia.

June 15 will see the London mod stars head to North Greenwich to play The O2 arena.

The concept version of the 1973 album - which was turned into a film starring Sting, Phil Daniels and Leslie Ash - is directed by the group's frontman Roger Daltrey.

It sees powerful imagery projected on huge screens alongside hits such as The Real Me and Love Reign o'er Me.

Last year it was performed on a tour of the United States.

Tickets for the UK tour go on sale at 9am on Friday.
