A 47-year-old Bexleyheath woman will appear in court after she was charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police confirmed that Jacqueline Williams, of Snipe Close, was charged following a media appeal.

The charge relates to an incident on-board a train from Woolwich Arsenal to Abbey Wood on October 30.

Williams will appear at Bexley Magistrates Court on November 9.
