The Crystal prepares to sparkle

The new landmark of the Royal Docks - Siemens' distinctive Crystal - will open to the public on September 29 but gets down to business next week.
The urban sustainability centre at the heart of the new enterprise zone will launch on Wednesday with a spectacular gala event and light projection show, beamed directly onto the building's glassfronted exterior.
President and CEO of Siemens AG, Peter Loscher, will be present.
On Thursday, the Crystal will host UN Habitat's Urban Planning Conference bringing together sustainable city experts in the building's conference facilities. Guests include UN Under-Secretary-General Dr. Joan Clos.
On Friday, the venue will stage a Digital Life Design conference (DLD) throughout the building, exploring innovation, digital media, science and culture.
One of the world's most sustainable city buildings, the Crystal hosts the world's largest free public interactive exhibition dedicated to exploring the future of cities, as well as conferencing space, electric vehicle recharging points and a cafe.

Please tell me what time the amazing show is due to begin. The building is stunning. My cousin Toby has promised to give us our own guided tour - he works or Siemens! C
