Tennis players can hone their skills by competing against others in the new Docklands Singles Tennis League.

Set up by not-for-profit organisation Local Tennis Leagues and affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association, the sporting challenge is open to adults of all standards.

Players are grouped by ability and have eight weeks, until November 18, to play a maximum of seven matches on any public court.
