Police have released an image of a man wanted for two sexual assaults in east London over the last year.

The suspect struck in both June and October attacking women walking home alone. He was caught on CCTV with another man, believed to be an associate of his.

His first offence was on June 22 just before midnight when he followed a 51-year-old woman to an apartment block in Seagull Lane in the Royal Docks.

He assaulted the woman before he ran off when she screamed.

His next attack was at 8.30pm on October 14 when he followed a 22-year-old woman to Western Gateway. He tailgated her into her building before assaulting her in a lift.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Asian man of large build.

The other man (pictured behind) is believed to be his associate. The CCTV image was taken on the evening of the second attack.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who recognises either of the men to contact them on 020 8345 9862.
