A new attraction will give hardy explorers an unparalleled view of Canary Wharf, the river, historic Greenwich and the London skyline.

Roped up and ready to go, adventurers will follow in the footsteps of James Bond and make their way across the roof of The O2.

The walkway - Up At The O2 - officially opens on June 21 with tickets on sale from May 30. The £22 price tag for the 90 minute experience includes full briefing, climb suits and equipment, and will see people scale their along the 190m fabric walkway to the central observation platform, 53m above ground level.

AEG Europe senior vice-president Alistair Wood said: "Up At The O2 is not only an exciting, new landmark attraction for London but it also marks the fifth birthday of The O2."
