A robber who threatened to "start shooting" unless bookmakers gave him money struck twice in four days.

The man, who did not show a firearm in either incident, made off with a sum of money from Mary Rose Mall in Beckton but left empty-handed in an attempt at nearby High Street South.

He struck on Sunday April 15 at 4.40pm and then at Wednesday 3.55pm.
