Woolwich Ferry to close all weekend
Works on the terminals for the Woolwich Ferry means the crossing will be shut for the next two weekends.
The renovation involves replacing piles, which hold up the north and south piers and were originally put in place in the mid-'60s.
A further closure will take place over the first two Saturdays and Sundays of March.
Transport for London is advising people to use the Blackwall and Rotherhithe tunnels, as well as Tower Bridge, for vehicles during the closures.
Pedestrians can use the recently refurbished Woolwich Foot Tunnel, which is situated next to the ferry terminals.
