Ex-boxing champ David Haye in Canary Wharf today

ff-sept18-haye.jpgFormer world heavyweight champion David Haye will be in Canary Wharf this lunchtime to sign copies of his biography.

The Bermondsey-born boxer quit the ring on his 31st birthday last month, having lost his WBA title to Witali Klitschko earlier in the year.

Haye was previously the undisputed cruiserweight champion, having unified the titles with a quick-fire win over Welshman Enzo Maccarinelli at The O2 in March 2008.

He then went on to fulfil his childhood ambition of becoming heavyweight champion by defeating the giant Russian Nikolay Valuev in November 2009.

Haye will be signing copies of Making Haye at Waterstone's in Jubilee Place mall from 12.30pm.
