Balloon ride could be next Greenwich attraction
Plans for a tethered balloon ride overlooking Greenwich Peninsula have been submitted to Greenwich Council.
The 100 metre high flight has been proposed by Future Leisure Aviation who are also responsible for a similar attraction in Hong Kong.
The balloon will accommodate up to 30 passengers at time and will be located on land adjacent to North Greenwich underground station
The attraction is intended to remain for five years.
A decision is expected in mid-December.
