Rugby star Lewis Moody coming to Canary Wharf
Former England rugby captain Lewis Moody has booked a date to meet fans in Canary Wharf.
Moody, who announced his retirement from international rugby last week, will be signing copies of his autobiography Mad Dog: An Englishman at Waterstone's in Jubilee Place mall on November 9.
The 33-year-old, nicknamed Mad Dog because of his ferocious playing style, played 71 times for England and was part of the squad that won the 2003 World Cup.
Despite being plagued by injury in recent seasons he was still Martin Johnson's first choice as England captain, but ended his international career on a duff note after England's poor showing in the recent World Cup in New Zealand.
The signing runs from 5-6pm. For reservations contact Waterstone's on 020 7719 0688.
