00jul17transport1.JPGThe RMT union has announced the dates of two stoppages on London Underground.

The first walkout by Tube drivers will be between 9.01pm on May 16 and 9pm on May 20, followed by a second strike between 9.01pm on June 13 and 9pm on June 17.

The RMT claims that around 1,500 drivers will take part in the industrial action, whichis likely to cause serious disruption to Canary Wharf commuters if it goes ahead.

The union has called the action in protest over what it says is victimisation by London Underground of two of its activists, allegations LU denies.
