Big game action at The Valley this weekend as Charlton entertain fellow-promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday.

It's the first time in the sides have met in the third tier of the English league, with all other 40 matches played in the top two divisions.

It's been nine matches since the two sides shared the spoils in London, with Charlton and Wednesday winning four each of the last eight clashes.

Saturday sees larger than life character Nicky Weaver return to The Valley, the ground where the goalkeeper has had mixed receptions.

He installed himself as number one during Alan Pardew's tenure, but before that had a fractious relationship with the Addicks fans during one or two encounters when Weaver was at Manchester City.

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson will be at his 100th game in charge of the team from SE7.

Chris Solly is back in training and may feature on the bench, but Parkinson is likely to go with the same 11 who won 4-3 in the dramatic clash with Carlisle last weekend.

Kick off: 3pm, Saturday
