A fight which took place just outside North Greenwich Tube station in the early hours of Monday morning has put five young men in hospital.

Officers were called to the area at 2am following reports that a man in his late teens had been stabbed near The O2 arena.

A further four men, all believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, were found with stab wounds nearby.

All five were taken to hospital for treatment but none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

A large area outside the Tube station has been cordoned off as police carry out their inquiries.

No arrests have been made.

If you close the nightclubs at the o2 you will stop attracting the crowd who enjoy stabbing one another after a night out. Since when did Greenwich become so ghetto unfabulous!?
