Gary Lineker and Sir Michael Caine book Wharf dates
Sports fans and movie buffs will have the chance to meet some of their heroes in Canary Wharf over the next few weeks.
Gary Lineker, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Ian Botham are just three of the big names heading to Waterstone's in Jubilee Place mall as the autumn book promotion season gets underway.
Lineker kicks things off this Thursday when he will be at the store from 12.30pm to sign copies of his new book, Still Dreaming: My Inside Account of the 2010 World Cup.
Sir Michael arrives on Thursday, October 7, when he will be promoting his autobiography, The Elephant to Hollywood. His signing starts at 12.30pm and is likely to be very busy.
Sir Ian, who is always a popular draw when he's in Canary Wharf, will be here on October 13 - also at 12.30pm - with his cricket book Botham's Book of the Ashes.
Also heading this way is golfer Sam Torrance, chef Levi Roots and ex-SAS man Chris Ryan.
Torrance will be getting into the swing of things on September 7, with his book An Enduring Passion, The Ryder Cup Years.
Levi Roots will be cooking up some interest next Wednesday, starting at 12.30pm, while Ryan will be here on September 16.
