Millwall and Charlton get away ties in Carling Cup
Millwall and Charlton have both been handed away ties in the draw for the first round of the Carling Cup.
The newly-promoted Lions face a trip to Wycombe Wanderers, and will fancy their chances of beating a side relegated from League One last season.
Charlton will have to trek all the way to Shrewsbury for the start of their campaign, although their priority next season will be to secure promotion from League One, rather than chasing cup glory.
The draw was made this morning, and sees teams from the Championship, League One and League Two taking part.
Ties will be played in the week starting August 9.
