Back in November, the Lions played a struggling Wycombe team, cresting on the wave of a great run. They crashed to defeat.

In February, the story was the same, as a Julian Kelly goal punted Millwall out of the playoff places.

Millwall's defeat at the hands of the Chairboys three months ago ended a streak of 14 home games without defeat. And, even with the confidence padding of five wins on the trot this time around, the Lions failed to prevent the second-bottom side completing the double over them at Adams Park.

The damage was done in stoppage time at the end of the first half. Debutant Julian Kelly cut inside and whipped in a curling cross which whipped between onrushing attackers and the goalkeeper and nestled in the far corner of the net.

Schofield and Harris were brought on by manager Kenny Jackett at half time, and Millwall began to press for parity. Chris Hackett's cross skimmed across goal without a telling touch, and at the other end Chris Westwood and Matt Harrold both had chances to double Wycombe's lead.

Millwall's key moment came when Shaun Batt was fouled in the box by Craig Woodman, allowing Neil Harris the chance to equalise from the spot. The Lions veteran smacked a firm effort to his left, but the Tom Heaton hurled himself over to make an impressive stop.

Gareth Ainsworth was sent off for leading with an elbow on Tony Craig, but Schofield escaped with a yellow card for pushing the Wycombe man in the ensuing row. Alan Dunne didn't enjoy the same luck as Kelly when his own cross bounced off the bar, and substitute Jon Obika forced another good save from Heaton with a stinging drive towards the top right corner.

Millwall now slip down to seventh thanks to Huddersfield's 2-0 win at Hartlepool, leaving the Lions two points off the pace for sixth.
